Skins I don't get it...you're one of the most vocal opponents of racism on this board, yet here you are trying to bait someone into responding to you with racist remarks. Why can't you just leave it alone? Then I see you started this thread http://www.therxforum.com/showthread.php?t=606081 in offshore, apparently trying to illicit some kind of racist remarks from Beantown. Talk about instigating. It reminds me of the kid on the playground who goads another kid into finally hiiting him so he can run to the playground monitor and get the other kid in trouble.
How am I baiting him into a racist remark in this thread? He gave a shoutout to roach, completely contradicting himself when he stated openly his disgust and hatred for Indians. I simply pointed out the hilarity of that contradiction. It's pretty goddamned funny, if you ask me.

As for the thread I created that you referenced above, I wasn't trying to elicit anything. I read the story on CNN this morning and thought it was funny. I didn't think that BEANTOWN would be compelled to comment in that thread when I created it just because I knew it'd upset him. I just thought the story was funny. The end.
You suggest a good idea, though: I SHOULD be trying to elicit racist comments from these guys. Because at the end of the day, no matter what anyone else says or does, there is supposedly no place for racism here, according to Rx policy. So theoretically I could nag and pester these guys to no end about an assortment of topics, and the minute they decide to turn racist with their replies, they're done. No excuse for racism, period. Comment on someone's intelligence or lack thereof, capping ability, etc., but race is a no-no. Good idea, thanks for suggesting it.
In the future, ask first before assuming my intentions for creating a thread. That way we can avoid any misunderstandings like this one. Glad we got this cleared up, though.

Thanks for the response. Thanks also for the suggestion of asking you before I assume your intentions. Probably not gonna go that route however. You start a thread referencing Beantown that calls him out by name in the thread title, and you admit you knew the thread would upset him, yet claim you didn't think he would be compelled to respond. Seems to me the intentions are fairly obvious. Now you can dispute that, I can call "bullshit", etc...that makes for better forum reading anyway.

I guess everybody loses it sometimes. I know I do. Don't condone what you said, I just think banning you was a bit harsh.
PBR, I think a lot has gone on between Skins, Dsethi and several others and BTJ. IT would be unfair to single out one thread and say that Skins is baiting him.
You could take that same thread and make the case that Skins was responding to one of BTJ's rants against him. Perhaps Skins was using a "taste of his own medicine" against BTJ to defend himself. You have to take into account the whole picture and not one isolated thread.
Bottom line, BTJ has earned every bit of what he gets, baiting, insults etc, for the way he has acted since he has been here.
